Honda VFR750 - VFR700 Motorcycles : Honda was really starting to express themselves as a contender in sportbikes in the mid to late 80's. This is where Honda came in with some nice curves in the design of their motorcycles, while the Kaws were still a bit boxy.
Why is it called a "VFR 750" ? Because it sports a V-Four 7500cc engine that's why. With the right exhaust they start to sound a bit like half of a small block chevy.
Honda really put some brain power in to the design of these motorcycles. Gear driven cams that ride on actual ball bearings, aluminum frame, TRAC anti-dive suspension and 100 horsepower make this one fine ride. When comparing the VFR750 to the Yamaha and GSXR, the Honda VFR made more power all around up to 11K rpm. That is some serious grunt.
The VFR 750 & VFR 700 motorcycles are nearly identical despited the difference in stroke. Parts should be easy to come by.
