This is a 750cc "Touring Bike". "Sport Touring" for the day seems a bit more accurate. In my opinion, The Suzuki GT 750 was never built to compete with the monster Kawasaki 500-750 triples. Is the Suzuki GT 750 fast? In stock trim the GT750 is quite slow for a 750. Once again, it was not built to be a "Widow Maker" 750. BUT, with some pipes and a jet kit you can easily awaken the beast. Many Suzuki GT 750 Parts are readily available on ebay. When I owned the RZ350 my friend with the two GT750's realized his bike would never beat the little 350. I believe this was a factor that influenced him to sell all of his Water Buffalos and buy a Busa.
